I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Ethics, AI & Society at the Department of Digital Humanities, King’s College London.
My current research delves into the intersections of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and environmental justice. I am exploring the extent to which AI can support the many rich, place-based ways communities relate to the land, water and ecosystems around them.
I have also written about digital sovereignty and scientific data colonialism.
My work draws on engagement with digital rights, environmental, peasant and Indigenous groups in Latin America.
Beyond academia, I regularly collaborate with media outlets and NGOs based in Europe, Latin America and other regions of the world.
